Baker’s carved beech lame by Ahren-Paul Main

Crafted by artisan knife maker Ahren-Paul Main in Suffolk. He developed the shorter lame for us as we find it easier to handle when scoring our loaves and adding decorative markings. He now produces many of these for other bakers. We don’t get chance to do much decoration on our loaves these days, but it will make a lovely gift for home bakers who enjoy decorative scoring on their creations.
